It is advisable that you only delete duplicate records. Deleting a record is a permanent action and you will not be able to retrieve the information. It is best practice to switch a family to 'inactive'. By switching a record to inactive, families can reactive their waitlist at any point in time in their parent portal. Administrators can also reactivate waitlists. Inactive families do not appear in your waitlist dashboard or searches. However, you can specifically search for inactive profiles if you need to reactivate them.

Via Waitlist Dashboard
Filter to locate the waitlist profile. On the right side, of the profile listing, under actions, click the Edit pencil button. This will provide a drop-down action so you can select INACTIVE or DELETE.

Via Carer Summary / Profile
Locate the child's profile. At the upper right corner of the profile, there is a drop-down action selection where you can select Inactive or Delete
If you choose to delete a waitlist application you will be prompted to confirm this action.
