Setting the centre profile information is important in ensuring the contact information and email signature is up to date. In the system, administrators will navigate as follows:
Centre Profile
1. Click on Settings in the header menu and Edit on the selected service.
2. Complete the following fields and click Apply to save changes.
- Centre Name
- Email - This refers to the email where all replies to all MyWaitlist communications from families will be received. This does not refer to the user login. If you need to change your login email, please contact support@mywaitlist.com.au.
- Phone
- Centre Manager First Name and Last Name
- Website
- Timezone Tour bookings and appointment scheduling rely on this being correct
- Address
- Map location - use the search bar above the Google map to set your service's pin location. If you use the Tour Scheduling feature, your clients will receive directions to your centre based on this location.
- Signature - Input your signature and use the placeholder icon to add your logo. See here for steps on how to add your logo.
Please note: If you wish to change your centre name, please contact support@mywaitlist.com.au to verify the business name change.
Service Type
Within MyWaitlist, you are able to categorise your service type. You are prompted to do this when you register by selecting one of the following service types:
- Child Care Centre / Long Day Care
- Preschool
- Before School Care
- After School Care
- Occasional Care
- Vacation Care
If this changes at any point, you can update it by:
1. Navigating to the Service Type tab under the Centre Profile menu.
2. Tick the Service Types that apply.
2. Select Apply to save the changes.
Note: If you already have existing waitlist requests under a service type, you cannot remove the check box until you have manually changed each of those waitlists to another service type.
Depending on the options you select, parents will then be presented with a drop-down menu to choose from when editing a waitlist within their parent portal, if you offer multiple service types. If you offer only one service type, only this option will be shown. See the screenshot below for the sample view for families using the parent portal.
Theme
To update the logo that appears on your account and the email signatures:
1. Navigate to the Theme tab under the Centre Profile menu.
2. Select the file and click Upload. (The system only accepts PNG and JPEG files)
3. Once uploaded, select Apply to apply changes.
API Keys
API Keys allow third-party software to access waitlist data and provide additional functionality. Administrators can be generated by clicking on the Generate API Keys button on the same screen.
To access the API keys
1. Navigate to the API Keys tab under the Centre Profile menu.
2. Click on Generate API Keys.
