What are Conversion Events?
There are four main conversion events that can occur after obtaining a new lead:
- Toured
- Offered
- Confirmed
- Started
A lead may experience all conversion events or no events.
Remember, a new lead can be obtained via the following online methods (depending on which you are using on your website and landing pages):
- Lead Form
- Quick Enquiry Form
- Long Waitlist Form
- Tour Booking Form
- Manual Entry into System via Administrator
What does the Lead Conversion Events Report show?
The Lead Conversion Events Report counts the number of conversion events that have occurred. It is presented in a visual line chart format. You can group the events on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
You can click on the data points along the line charts to view the list of leads associated with that conversion event.
You can use the filter function to change reporting parameters such as time period, centre and referral source.
What is the Lead Conversion Events report useful for?
Lead Conversion Events can show the level of favourable activity associated with leads. It can show you trends in seasonality, trends between events themselves and gaps in service efficiency.
DID YOU KNOW? What happens if a lead reached a conversion event but later withdrew? For example, a lead was offered a place but no longer wanted it and returned to the waitlist. It is still counted as a conversion event. If a family has reached a status of Offered, Confirmed or Started and later wanted to withdraw this status and return to the waitlist, the conversion event will still be marked on the line chart for the given week, month or year it originally occurred. See the Lead Conversion Rate Report which is able to provide more detail in the activity of conversion events. |
