Question: My family cannot maintain their active status. The link in the email does not work.
Waitlist Status Reminder Emails to Stay Active
MyWaitlist keeps track of your interested families by automatically emailing parents to remind them that they are still waitlisted at your service. This email prompts them to confirm if they still require care. If their care date passes, they will continue to receive reminder emails until they are offered a place or become inactive. 4. Check if the Confirm Requirements link is correct. Click the hyperlink, then select Edit Link from the small menu bar that pops out.
Note: This placeholder creates a system-generated link unique to the child's profile. Therefore, this link should contain @{ConfirmUrl} or @{ReviewUrl} instead of an actual URL link.
DO NOT COPY & RE-PASTE placeholder hyperlinks from the template to another program, such as MS Word. Notepad, etc., as it will break the link, and carers will not be able to confirm their status.
How to generate the link in your Waitlist Reminder Emails:
1. In the template, click the placeholder button and select the Link to Confirm Status/Link to Review.
2. Click Save when complete.
Handy Tips:
- DO NOT COPY & RE-PASTE placeholder hyperlinks from the template to another program, such as MS Word. Notepad, etc., as it will break the link, and carers will not be able to confirm their status.
- When testing links generated by the system from the email templates, ensure you are logged off as an administrator from the MyWaitlist system. Or use a different browser, or use an incognito tab.
